With us, you can truly escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Our campsite is located in the beautiful Ardennes forests, with a babbling brook and a vast piece of our own mountain and woods.
And although there is no mobile reception at the campsite, you can always use the wifi at the bar to share your adventures with friends and family. And while you're at the bar, you can also enjoy our extensive selection of craft beers!

We are Sabine, Daniel & Wolf
After years in the Dutch hospitality industry, it was time for something new. We sold our house, packed our belongings, and embarked on an adventure in the Belgian Ardennes. Since October 2024, we have been the proud owners of Camping Tro Do Way – a place where nature, adventure, and conviviality come together.
We are gradually building a more sustainable campsite. We have planted new hedges with many flowers and berries, and created green walls from our own pruning waste to enhance biodiversity. The battery packs have now been installed, and next year we would like to add solar panels here.

Animal lover? Then you will feel right at home at Tro Do Way.
Our campsite is shared with a few special residents:cats Otis and Lily, the always grazing sheepMoumouteandPeluche, and their loyal bodyguardChiot.
Otis loves to cuddle or nap in the sun, while Lily is a bit more reserved and prefers to watch from a distance.
The sheep graze a different part of the campsite each time, and Chiot keeps a close eye on everything — although he enjoys the attention just as much during our campsite rounds. You'll come across them naturally. Feel free to say hello, give them a stroke (if they want), and let them do their thing.

There is more life around and on the campsite than you might think at first glance. Our regular neighbours, the beavers, literally live next to the site and can be seen almost every evening. They are busy building dams, dragging branches, and sometimes curiously looking around — you can watch them all evening!
With a bit of luck and the right conditions, you might also spot a fire salamander. In the stream, little trout swim and the European crayfish lives.
At the beginning of July, it becomes truly magical: as evening falls, the fireflies appear and light up the edges of the forest as if someone has scattered tiny stars.
Those who walk quietly may encounter a roe deer, fox, or even a raccoon along the way. And for bird lovers, it is a paradise here: kingfishers regularly flash by at the beaver dam, and red kites often circle above the valley higher up the hill.
Tro Do Way is not just a place to camp — it is a place where nature is still truly alive, and where you can discover something new every day.
